My husband passed away in January 2025 after an 18 month battle with cancer and aged only 47, leaving our two teen boys and I devastated. I’m walking to raise money in his memory, the MacMillan nurses offered us both a lot of support during that time. Plus the MacMillan helpline answered my calls numerous times. I will forever be grateful!

In July 2025, I have challenged myself (with some wonderful friends as part of a team) to take on the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for a Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
