London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024 · 7 April 2024 ·

Five fantastic runners raising money for Frontline's work to create social change for children who do not have a safe or stable home, by developing excellent social work practice, leadership and innovation.

Story

I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Frontline, England's largest social work charity.

Your support today not only improves social workers' skill and resilience in their everyday work, but also improves the future life chances of children and their families as well as contributing to wider social change.

Running this is going to be a journey rather than a sprint, just as it is with achieving social change.

Since signing up in October, the self doubt and self criticism that has come with it has been a whirlwind. I have found myself questioning whether I can actually run without stopping, never mind running 13.1 miles! However, the money raised that will go into the incredible work that Frontline achieve, will make it 100% worth it ♥️

Thank you so much for your support x

P.S. I am determined to cross that finish line, but I can’t promise there won’t be tears!!
