We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

I ran LLHM last year for the first time - I took up running with 3.5 months to go and managed to run the whole thing (by the skin of my teeth), and raise 650 pounds for NSPCC. This year I'm running with my colleagues Molly, Sophie and Phoebe, and I'm trying to train slightly better and avoid the reoccurring shin splints this time, as well as hopefully shave off a few minutes from last year's time.

As a teacher, I've chosen to support NSPCC again due to their important work in keeping children safe. Their work with schools, families, and individual kids is so important in improving their life chances. Any donations would be so appreciated!

"The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.

Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse

That’s why we’re here. That's what drives all our work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – we will fight for every childhood."
