Story
In May last year, I set myself a challenge - to run a marathon! Some may call me crazy, some may say it’s a midlife crisis - either way I’m doing it!
As many of you know, my husband, Tom, has suffered with a rare liver disease, PSC, for many years. PSC is a cruel, life limiting disease, which has caused Tom to need not one, but two liver transplants and he’s still not out of the woods. PSC affects, not just the person living with the diagnosis, but their close family and friends as well. Even though Tom no longer has the disease, we live with the effects of it every day and there’s always a chance it could return for a third time.
PSC support works tirelessly to find a cure for this horrible disease so please, if you can, donate to this wonderful cause and put pressure on me to actually do this run!
PSC Support is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by the rare, autoimmune disease, primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). PSC has no cure or medical treatment.
Donating to my fundraising page means you are helping PSC Support to provide much-needed support and information to people affected by PSC. Critically, you'll be helping PSC Support to fund and drive groundbreaking PSC research, taking us closer and closer to a cure. Every penny counts.
Thank you. #LetsBeatPSC
