The amazing Helen Arkell London Marathon team are taking part in this iconic event to raise awareness of and funds for people with dyslexia. These dedicated individuals are pushing themselves to the limit and your support will mean so much to them.

Story

I’m doing the London Marathon for this amazing charity. The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity.

Our Daughter Lucy was diagnosed with Dyslexia when she was just 7 years old. The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity were one of the first groups we reached out to, for help and guidance at a tricky and confusing time for us.

We were lucky enough to get a teacher to help Lucy at school as well as support and advice on what to do to help her in the best possible way.

Some of you may know that I am a keen runner and I am so excited to be running my first Marathon to raise funds for the people we support at the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity on 26 April 2026.

Through this amazing challenge, myself and the team will give hope to parents and children who come to the charity feeling hopeless, and help to boost the self esteem and confidence of someone who has felt alone and misunderstood.
