As a few of my close friends and family know, my dad has recently been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. As you can imagine, this has not been easy to receive this news as a family.

My dad has spent over 25 years caring for children and their families. As a children's nurse, I am forever proud of him and the care he gives to others.

Maggie's is a charity that supports individuals and loved ones dealing with cancer. It is free to access. There are support specialists, psychologists and benefit advisors to help navigate life with cancer.

Our local Maggie's centre is in Nottingham.

Callum and I will be running the Nottingham half Marathon on Sunday, September 28th 2025. To raise money for Maggie's and all the work they do. Going forward, Maggie's will be supporting myself and my family throughout this difficult time.

I would like to ask for any donations, as they would be hugely appreciated. Anyone who knows my dad will understand how hard he works and how he goes above and beyond caring for others, therefore, I would like to do the same for a charity that offers the same support to those in need.
