Story

Me, my sister Rachael, and our friends Fiona and Laura are running the MCR Half Marathon on 13th October to raise some much needed funds for Bury Hospice in memory of My amazing Dad, Pete White, who they looked after in his final days. My dad knew we would be running the Half Marathon and asked that we do it for Bury Hospice as after being in and out of hospital majority of his life, he knew the care in this place was special. We have raised around £1500 so far for the hospice and we just want to keep going & carry on helping where we can.

They also offer families lots of support which I have taken myself, it has helped me so much and I just find it amazing that they are there for us and we aren’t forgotten about.

The work they do is just remarkable and they rely on funds raised to enable them to continue to do what they do and that is why we have decided to run 13.1 miles in memory of my Dad, who will be with us every mile telling us to keep going and stay strong just like he did, our warrior.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our page as the support or any donations made are hugely appreciated.

Now let’s go smash it👏🏻

This is for you Dad ❤️
