Our wonderful Mum, Wife and Grandma - Sheila Williams, passed away in April 2025, after being diagnosed with dementia in 2023. Sheila was vibrant and full of life, she loved art, reading, painting, yoga and travel (amongst many other things). Katie will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 6th April 2026 in memory of Sheila and to help raise more money for Dementia UK.

Dementia UK supported our family through this tough time and the Admiral Nurses helped us understand what was happening and where we could go for help and support. They also continue to support us with Dad’s dementia and ongoing needs.

We would like to give back by raising money for this much needed charity, to help other families also going through dementia.
