Story
Following the skydive in July, I am now on to my next challenge which will be running 10k on Sunday 7th September. Hopefully I can raise even more money for the Veterans Foundation in memory of my lovely friend Lewis who we lost in April this year.
Lewis was a young soldier who served for 5 years in the rifles. He went on missions to Kenya, Romania and Afghanistan. He left the army in November 2020 which is when we met. I have had the absolute honour of having Lewis as my friend from then until he passed this year.
Lewis lost his battle with mental health in April this year after struggling with PTSD. He has left us all devastated and left behind a young daughter.
I am raising money for Veterans Foundation because I want to fight for soldiers like Lewis.
Anything you can donate is appreciated, every penny counts ❤️
A bit about the charity:
The Veterans’ Foundation was formed in 2016 to provide vital support to our armed forces community with lifelong needs. Since our launch, we have now raised over £25m towards 1150 projects for 540 small to medium charities and providers of support for physical injury, disability, mental health issues, addiction, homelessness, bereaved children, family welfare, education, and unemployment.
