Story
On 10th July, on what should have been my friend’s 27th Birthday, I am jumping out of a plane in his memory to raise money for The Veterans Foundation.
I chose this charity as they do a lot to support veterans including mental health support.
My friend Lewis served in the army as a young soldier for 5 years and came out in 2020. In April 2025, he sadly passed away and since his passing I’m determined to raise awareness and raise funds for charities to help with the mental health support of our soldiers.
I’m absolutely bricking it jumping out of a plane so anything at all you can give for this great cause it will be really appreciated!
A bit about the charity:
The Veterans’ Foundation was formed in 2016 to provide vital support to our armed forces community with lifelong needs. Since our launch, we have now raised over £25m towards 1150 projects for 540 small to medium charities and providers of support for physical injury, disability, mental health issues, addiction, homelessness, bereaved children, family welfare, education, and unemployment.
