Whilst I love a walk in the countryside I have NEVER attempted anything remotely this far. See me out and about in training - rain or shine - and hopefully building up some stamina so I can complete this 50km ultra hike on 22 June before the next day dawns!

I would be so appreciative of any sponsorship for my, and the Theatre Trekkers team efforts, as we pull on our worn out walking boots and tackle the hilly Cotswolds challenge by walking 50km - in just one day- for the Theatre's 50th anniversary.

A bit about The Theatre in Chipping Norton ....

Not only do they put on a fantastic programme of live theatre, music comedy and of course panto; they are a brilliant charity who play a vital role in our local community by using art and drama to provide support and opportunity and create real, positive change in our our community.

They keep ticket prices as low as possible, and have a huge bursary scheme which makes it possible for many more local children and families to experience professional live theatre, and to take part in drama and holiday workshops and have a chance to get on stage themselves.

They also have an amazing positive impact for so many people through their community programme which reaches hundreds of people in the large rural area all around us and focuses on using drama and creativity to meet 3 key local needs; food, mental health and inclusion. I think thats important and worth supporting - I hope you agree.
