In 2008 my Mum, Catherine founded Kate's Kitchen. Kate's Kitchen is a staff and volunteer run drop-in facility based in Annan that operates as a community hub 4 days per week. All are welcome. Their service is aimed at supporting people who are vulnerable and in need of support, as well as those experiencing loneliness, isolation, food and income poverty.

They offer a hot meal and a listening ear. They have built close relationships with partner agencies so that they can signpost their clients and enable them to access the best support and advice available to them.

On the 29th of May 2025 my beautiful Mum, Catherine passed away leaving behind Kate's Kitchen as her legacy. In memory of Mum and the kindness that she showed to others we are asking for donations to Kate's Kitchen so they can help sustain the vision that Mum had.
