Child Photo Session

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Hi, my name is Kat. I'm just setting up a photography business (Kat Purchase Photography) specialising in sensory-friendly child photo sessions. I am fundraising for the National Autistic Society this World #AutismAcceptanceWeek

💜 I am fundraising for autistic children to have a happy and fulfilled time at school.

💙 I am fundraising to ensure autistic people are given proper opportunities to work.

💚 I am fundraising for shorter diagnosis wait times.

💛 I am fundraising for autism acceptance.

Both my son and myself have Autism. It's been 3 years of learning for both of us, but I've realised along the way I have learnt skills to help provide families a chance to capture beautiful memories in an environment that allows each child to feel relaxed and be themselves, making it a fun experience for all.

For World Autism Acceptance Week I'm offering 5 mini sessions with 5 final digital images, specifically tailored to each child, for a suggested donation of £200 to the National Autistic Society. Even though I specialise in sensory friendly sessions, all my photo sessions are open to all children from sitter age to 16 years.

Bookings will be made via Session, but payment will be made via this JustGiving page. All money will go directly to the National Autistic Society. If you wish to just make a donation, you can also do so via this page. Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated and will be going towards creating a better society for autistic people and their families.
