Harry & Katrina take on the Miles That Matter Challenge 2025

Miscarriage Association Miles that Matter 2025 · 11 May 2025 ·
In 2023 I took on the Miles That Matter Challenge as we were going through our fourth miscarriage and loss. It gave me focus and helped both my physical and mental recovery to no end.
Here we are two years later in a very fortunate position. There isn't a day that passes that Adam and I don't appreciate how lucky we are to have Harry and we are so, so thankful.
So...
Harry and I will be taking on the 2025 challenge as a team! The challenge aim is 1.4 miles a day (42 in total) across the month of June to recognise that 1 in 4 pregnancies results in miscarriage and loss. But we're quadrupling the target to recognise the four babies that we didn't get to meet and love like we do Harry.
June is our last full month on maternity leave together, so covering 168 miles (6 a day!) will be really special.
Everyone was so generous with their donations on my last plod, so please don't feel obliged to contribute (but anything you can spare gratefully received). This is about raising awareness and keeping the conversation about pregnancy loss open and ongoing. The Miscarriage Association have some amazing resources and we continue to support them as one of our chosen charities.
