I have decided (possibly against my better judgement) to celebrate my 40th year by undertaking some new experiences - one is to do my first Aquathlon. On Friday 16 August I’ll be taking part in an organised race at Vobster Quay where I’ll first swim 750m in open cold water before going straight into a 5k run.

I am collecting donations for the Friends of Shoscombe Primary School, a registered charity that helps ensure all children get an equal opportunity to experience the joyful aspects of primary school life. The charity is currently fundraising to cover the build of a new outdoor classroom and also to offer specialist drama classes to children which build their confidence and give them an early love of the arts.
