PCSE's fundraiser for Leeds South and East Foodbank

“PCSE Volunteering”
We run 10 foodbank outlets where we support people in genuine food crisis in Leeds, by suppling 3 days of nutritionally balanced food alongside offering signposting to other agencies who aid with financial support. We rely on donations of both food and money to offer this support across the city.

Story

Leeds South and East Foodbank started in October 2013, with one Distribution Centre, which has now increased to 10 Distribution Centres across South and East Leeds.

There are many reasons why people need help from the Foodbank, such as low income, benefit changes and delays, delayed wages, and various other situations.

No one should have to face going hungry. That’s why the ten food bank sites provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to it in crisis.

Colleagues from PCSE are supporting the Foodbank by volunteering at the distribution centre but we also would like to provide financial help. Please consider donating £1 or more if you are able to so we can raise some much needed funds.
