Team Noah Tandem Skydive

Team Noah Skydive · 21 June 2025
A huge thank you to everyone that has sponsored me for my first and only skydive. Today has been a mix of absolute terror and pure exhilaration. Now my hands and legs have stopped shaking I think it’s time for a glass of wine.
For the past 8 years I have been volunteering at Noah’s Ark Children’s hospice and have seen the many ways they support families whose children have life limiting or life threatening illnesses. This year their work became more important to me on a personal level as a family member was diagnosed with a life limiting illness.
So on 21 June, I will hopefully overcome my fear of heights and flying and will be participating in a tandem Skydive! It's going to be a very exciting challenge and I would be hugely grateful for your support in helping me to achieve and exceed my fundraising target.
Noah's Ark helps babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families, make the most of every day. And the charity supports those who do die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by family.
By providing exceptional care, organising fun activities and days out, Noah's Ark helps families do things they never thought possible. We help those we support to enjoy life as children, rather than as patients; as families, not just as carers. We support over 350 children and families across North and Central London every year. We believe that every baby, child and young person who is seriously unwell, and their loved ones, should have access to expert and compassionate palliative care from the point of diagnosis.
