Story

On the 4th and 5th May 2024, Helen and I will be embarking on an extraordinary challenge – a 106km walk with 1,800+ metres of climb around the Isle of Wight. But this is more than just a physical challenge for us; it's a mission to kick cancer’s butt and help get one step closer to finding a cure for brain tumours.

We are walking to support The Brain Tumour Charity, a charity currently providing invaluable support to Vicki, an incredible lifelong friend of mine. Just a month after her 40th birthday in August 2023, Vicki received the devastating news of a Grade 4 midline glioma diagnosis. You can read Vicki’s story here.

Despite the immense and unimaginable challenges she has to face, Vicki's strength, positivity, and generous spirit continue to inspire us every day.

We will be walking for Vicki and all the brave souls and their loved ones facing the profound impact of a terminal brain tumour diagnosis.

Anything you can spare will be so gratefully received.

Thank you so much.

Katy and Helen xx
