Hey everyone, Katy here! I work at Wellcome: a charitable foundation that supports science to solve urgent health challenges. This year I've decided to run the Hackney Half Marathon to raise money for our staff charity of the year, SolarAid.

Considering how running 3k felt in January, this could be a grave mistake...only time will tell. I'm looking forward to challenging myself over the next few months while, most importantly, raising funds for SolarAid in their mission to combat poverty and the climate crisis.
