Story
I’m running this years Sheffield 10K in memory of my grandad Les Ricketts who sadly passed away from cancer last year. I’ve chosen to fundraise for St. Luke’s because of the care they gave not only my grandad but my whole family and the care they still give us. I will always remember the support they gave us at an incredibly difficult time which is why I think it’s so important to help them raise money so they can help many more families.
Each year, St Luke's touches the lives of around 6,000 people in and around Sheffield. With only 23% of our costs being funded by the government, we need to raise over £11 million this year to continue the work we do.
By taking part in the Sheffield 10K, I hope to help them to continue providing their services across Sheffield.
Anything that you can donate to my page will make a huge difference!
