As part of our annual ramadan orphan campaign, Queen Many and Barts Ahlulbayt Society is asking for your donations to aid in sponsoring an orphan through Al-Ayn.

This is an annual sponsorship for an in need orphan in Iraq. Any excess money will also be given to other orphans in need. This is our fourth year of running this campaign, and so our fourth year of sponsoring an orphan.

Within the first year of our campaign, we started with sponsoring a young girl whose situation then improved and no longer needed the sponsorship. We are now continuing to sponsor a 6 year old boy from last year. It means a lot to us to ensure the sponsorship continues so that he may continue to benefit so please do donate.

Last ramadan we managed to raise £1141 through your donations and a bake sale on campus, which allowed us to sponsor two orphans for a year-long sponsorship. This year Inshallah we aim to be able to sponsor two or more.

This Ramadan, give a child suffering through loss and poverty a chance. Orphaned children, just like any other children, deserve to be given a chance. Through people like you, Al-Ayn sponsors over 93,000 children across Iraq every month. Whatever it is that inspires you to make a pledge to transform a life, thank you for your support. Our target is £720 which is enough to sponsor an orphan for one year, covering the cost of food, shelter, education, clothing, entertainment and psychological support. Help sponsor an orphan who may be experiencing Ramadhan without their father for the first time.
