Story
I'm running the London Marathon 2026 in memory of my wonderful twin sister, Helen 💗
On April 26th , 2026, I’ll be taking on 26.2 miles through the streets of London with one very special person in my heart, my twin sister, Helen. Tragically, Helen died of breast cancer at the young age of 38. This March, we would have been turning 50 together, a milestone she should have been here to celebrate with her girls, her family, and everyone who loved her.
Helen was vibrant, loving, and full of determination, especially when it came to the people she cared about. I can picture her now, cheering us on every step of the way. There’s no way she would have let us give up, not for a second. Every mile we run will be for her.
I’m not doing it alone, I’ll be running alongside our amazing niece Becky Thomas, who is also Helen’s goddaughter. Together, we’re raising money for CoppaFeel!, a brilliant charity focused on raising awareness of breast cancer in young people. Their mission is to encourage early detection through education and regular checking, because catching it early truly can save lives.
We would be so grateful if you could support us with a donation. No amount is too small, and every penny will help CoppaFeel! spread their important message.
And one last thing, don’t forget to feel your boobs (or pecs or chest!). Get to know your body, check regularly, and talk about it. Helen would absolutely want that message shared, loudly and proudly 💕
Thank you so much for your support. Let’s run, remember, and raise awareness together
