I'm doing this incredibly difficult challenge of walking 50K over the mountain terrain from Pwllheli to Abersoch & back again in memory of a very special little lady named Maisie Almond.

Maisie was a big part of Bodvel life. Maisie was just 4 years old when I met her. I'll never forget her lovely curly hair and sun kissed cheeks. Maisie was always in the thick of making dens, having sleep overs, baking, riding her bike & playing man hunt until dark with all of the other children here at Bodvel Caravan Park.

In October 2024 I received the terrible news that Maisie had sadly passed away due to an incredibly rare illness. We we're all left devastated & heartbroken as Maisie was just 14 years old.

Kathryn & Stuart Almond (Maisie's parents) have founded the charity Maisie Moos Missions in their daughters name to "make sure Maisie's light continues to shine through helping others".
