In April 2024 I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for the North Wales Cancer Appeal.

I am doing this event in memory of my Mam. Back in 2001 mam was diagnosed with breast cancer, she was given the all clear but unfortunately the cancer returned two years later and spread. Mam sadly passed away at the young age of 35 when my brother Jack was 11 and I was 15. As you can imagine we were all devastated and this was a really hard time but we will never forget the care and support we received from the cancer centre.

Mam was the best we could ask for, she was loved by so many, from running the Cylch group at Ysgol Mornant to driving the mini bus for the Red Lion in Llanasa on weekends. People would always say ‘you could hear her before you see her’ (I wonder who I get it from).

I know times are hard for everyone at the moment but if you could help raise money towards this fantastic cause it would be greatly appreciated.

As mam always said ‘Here for a good time not a long time’.
