Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

In 2021 my father in law, Colin Livingstone, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After such a difficult year following lockdowns and hospital visits Colin had not been able to see his 5 children and 7 grandchildren very often. But thanks to support from Sue Ryder, Colin came home with a palliative care package. This gave Colins wife of 40 years, Christine, his 3 daughters, twin sons and 7 grandchildren precious time with him that they would not have had if he remained in hospital.

Colin was a very kind and warm person and a very well loved Husband, Father, Papa and friend. Colin is fondly spoken about every day in our home and we are forever grateful we could spend time with him in his last days to show him how loved he was and still is.

Please donate to this fantastic charity to ensure that other families can have the chance we had to say goodbye.
