Story
Last September, I lost my beautiful friend Ami. She died suddenly from an unknown heart condition at age 29.
Around the first anniversary of her death I will be walking from Hengistbury Head to Bournemouth in her memory, and to raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
CRY funds Cardiac screening for young people, supports family and friends affected by sudden cardiac death, and works to make sure fewer people lose someone the way we lost Ami. Every week in the UK, 12 seeming healthy young people (under 35) die from undiagnosed heart conditions, often with no warning signs at all.
I am doing this walk to remember her, and to help CRY find and support more people before it's too late. If you are able to donate, whatever you can give, it would mean so much, to me and her memory.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for your support.
