I’ll be running my first half marathon (eek) in memory of my uncle Steve, who sadly passed away last year after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

MND is a devastating, progressive disease that attacks the nerves controlling movement, speech and breathing. There’s currently no cure, and it can turn lives upside down in a very short space of time. The MND Association provides vital support, care, and funding for research across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
