Story
This year, I’m taking on a 26-mile hike in memory of a truly special man — Brian — and in support of so many others facing cancer.
Last year, I walked 13 miles for my dear friend Trudy, whose world was turned upside down when her father, Brian, was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and her sister Kerrie was bravely fighting breast cancer.
In November 2024, Brian sadly lost his battle. This year’s hike is a tribute to his life, his strength, and the love he shared with everyone around him.
There is also reason to celebrate — Kerrie has beaten cancer and marked her 60th birthday this March.
So this year, I’ve decided to double the distance and walk 26 miles — not only in Brian’s memory, but for all those we love who are still fighting, newly diagnosed, or affected by this devastating disease.
I’m proud to be doing this challenge with some of my amazing colleagues at Price & Buckland, and together we’re raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support — a charity that does incredible work providing vital care, information, and comfort to people living with cancer and their families.
Every step we take is for someone. Every donation helps Macmillan be there when it matters most.
Please give what you can — it truly means the world. 💚
Thankyou,
Kayleigh
