I am taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 for the London Ambulance Charity, this will be my 1st Half Marathon and the furthest I’ve ever run. It will be a massive challenge for me personally as i am not a natural runner but am very much looking forward to the challenge it brings. Most of my training runs will also be extra challenging as I'll be training with my 1 year old Son in his buggy.

I have chosen to run for the London Ambulance Charity which supports the incredible staff and volunteers of the London Ambulance Service, supporting their physical and mental well-being with a range of initiatives from well being support trucks to station upgrades.

Every penny raised goes towards their 3 main missions:

· Improving the healthcare and resilience of the communities we serve through the teaching of CPR and funding of public-access defibrillators.

· Enhancing the health and wellbeing of the people working and volunteering for the London Ambulance Service.

· Sharing and celebrating the proud history of London’s emergency healthcare services.

Having joined LAS as an EMT in October 2019 just before COVID I have seen over the past 5 years the impact the role has on staff wellbeing and so am choosing to take on this challenge to help provide support for my fellow crew mates and colleagues.
