Story
This September, I’m taking the on challenge of running the Run Shoreditch Half Marathon to raise money for the local Mind I work for - Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest (Mind CHWF).
We’re a mighty local mental health charity, working hard to making sure people who need support most don't have to face mental health alone.
I’m running for the people we support, and for those we’re not able to reach yet — but want to.
I'm running for my amazing colleagues who show up everyday with passion and genuine care for the work that they do.
And I'm running because we need action right now - honestly, the charity sector has been hit hard lately. Funding is tight, demand is high. Services like ours need support more then ever.
I’ve never done anything like this before — I’ve started my training journey at 3.5K, so there’s a long way to go. But I’m here for it!!
Any donation you can make would mean so much! Pennies make £ and all that.
If not please give this a share or send me some support! (I need it!)
