Story
Hi everyone, we are team of passionate students from various disciplines that together comprise King's College London's first-ever Formula Student (FS) team! Formula Student is an internationally recognised educational university competition, where young engineers come together through motorsport to design, build and race cars. This year, the competition takes place at Silverstone from the 17th - 21st of July 2024.
In our debut year, we aimed to compete in Formula Student's Concept Class (Competition), and after months of hard work, our concept proposal was accepted - Which means, we are heading to Silverstone this spring to compete! This first year is vital to create foundations for KCL Racing's progression and to solidify King's College London's presence in Formula Student.
However, we need to raise £800 to pay for the competition's Registration Fees... unfortunately as a new team, we do not have the same financial backing as others do. Therefore, we are launching this campaign to ask for your help in supporting our racing journey!
Any donations, small or big (or medium-sized), are greatly appreciated. With your donations, we can finally achieve our dream of going to Silverstone!

NB: if the target is exceeded, we will use any extra funds to help pay for transport to the competition. If the competition is cancelled or if the target is not met and we are unable to fund the remainder in time, we will save the funds to pay for any competition fees next year.
