Story
Hello, I am taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon on 25 April 2027, and I want to share with you why this event means so much to me and why I am fundraising for Phab. Over the past two years, I have undergone a significant personal transformation, losing 8 stone through dedication and hard work. This marathon represents more than just a race; it is a testament to pushing boundaries and achieving what many may find daunting or impossible.
My motivation is deeply personal. My daughter lives with ADHD and autism, and through this journey, I want to demonstrate to her that with perseverance and commitment, any goal is attainable. This message of hope and determination is at the heart of my marathon run.
Phab is an incredible charity that inspires and supports both disabled and non-disabled children, young people, and adults across England and Wales. Through their network of over 150 clubs and communities serving 8,000 members, as well as their residential and day adventures, Phab breaks down barriers in communities. They reduce social isolation by creating inclusive opportunities where everyone can enjoy activities side by side.
I am asking for your support in helping me reach my fundraising target of £2,000 for Phab. Your contribution will help continue their vital work in fostering inclusion and friendship among diverse groups of people. Together, we can make a difference.
