Story

Alongside many others, like last year I am taking part again in a 13 mile walk for my late friend Franki, on the 17th of May (my birthday too!) to raise funds for the amazing charity set up in her name to help save lives and educate our future generation.

Story:

Frankie Jules-Hough, 38, along with her unborn daughter Neeve, died when Adil Iqbal lost control of his father's BMW on the M66 after filming himself driving at speeds of up to 123mph. Iqbal, then 22, crashed into Frankie's Skoda Fabia, which was parked on the hard shoulder near Bury, Greater Manchester, due to a puncture. Frankie’s two sons and nephew, were placed into induced comas but all survived the crash in May 2023

Frankie's nine-year-old son, Tommy Spencer, and six-year-old nephew, Tobias Welby, both of whom suffered brain injuries and spent several weeks in intensive care following the accident, have contributed to the design of a road safety programme. This includes colourful characters aimed at educating young children about the importance of road safety

Frankie's partner, Calvin Buckley, 40 - the father of unborn Neeve - and her dad Frank, 62, are taking their creations into schools and developing an app featuring the characters for use by schools nationwide.
