Story
Hey everyone!
I’m taking on the Luton RunFest 2026 Half Marathon in aid of Keech Hospice Care, a charity that is incredibly important and close to my heart.
This is a challenge I’ve wanted to achieve for a long time. I’ve previously walked a full marathon, and I thought it would be an amazing goal to set myself the challenge of completing a half marathon by running, with the hope that one day I can take on the full marathon!
For the past 6 months, I’ve been consistently training, running 5K and 10K distances each week. Going from barely running to now running regularly and genuinely enjoying it has been such a positive experience for me, especially being able to run with friends and have their support along the way. ❤️
I’m hoping to complete the half marathon in around 2 hours and 20 minutes, but honestly, crossing that finish line will be an achievement in itself!
Most importantly, I’m doing this for Keech Hospice Care. They have supported me and my family massively in the past, and I will always be incredibly grateful for everything they have done for us. Being able to give something back to such an amazing charity means so much to me.
If you’re able to donate to my GoFundMe page, I would appreciate it more than you could ever know. Whether it’s a donation, a message, sharing my fundraiser, or simply supporting me along the way, every bit means so much.
I’ll also be sharing updates and photos of my training journey on my JustGiving page, so you can follow my progress right up until race day!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for supporting me on this journey.
Thank you! ❤️
Keeli x
