I’m taking part in the 2026 Great North Run to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society, as this is a cause that has become deeply personal to me.

We sadly lost my grandad in January 2025 and shortly after this my family received the difficult news that my granny had been diagnosed with early onset dementia.

Watching people you love go through this cruel disease is truly devastating.

By raising money I want to do my part to support research, care and hope that maybe one day there can be treatments to slow, stop or even reverse this horrific disease.
