Story
NHS FV's Keep Well team are taking part in the HEART UK Swap the Scroll Challenge during National Cholesterol Month to raise awareness of heart health and support people affected by high cholesterol. The challenge encourages us to swap some of our screen time for movement, fresh air and healthier habits.
Our Team Goals π―
We're setting ourselves some individual mileage targets throughout the month:
πΆ 50 miles - A great start and a fantastic achievement
πΆββοΈ 100 miles - Pushing ourselves a little further
πΆββοΈ 150 miles - Our stretch goal for those who really catch the walking bug!
We'll be tracking our miles and cheering each other on as we go. Whether it's a lunchtime walk, walking meetings, evening strolls, dog walks, family adventures, taking the stairs instead of the lift, or parking further away, every mile counts. π
Working in healthcare, we see every day how important prevention and healthy lifestyle choices are. By supporting our challenge, you'll be helping HEART UK, the UK's only cholesterol charity, continue providing information, support and awareness around cholesterol and heart health.
Our aim is simple:
π Move more
π Scroll less
π Improve our own wellbeing
π Raise awareness of cholesterol and heart health
π Raise as much money as we can for HEART UK
Any donation, big or small, will help make a difference. Every pound raised and every mile walked brings us one step closer to healthier hearts and healthier lives. β€οΈ
Thank you for supporting our team, cheering us on and helping us swap the scroll for something a little more active! ππΆββοΈπΆββοΈππ
