Book launch - The Empathy Fix

Book launch of The Empathy FiX · 30 January 2025
Almost half of the world's population lives in poverty. In the UK, almost one in every three children grow up in deprivation. Poverty is one of the greatest enduring crises of our time, yet efforts to address it commonly exclude those who are affected the most - people living in poverty.
ATD Fourth World has been working in partnership with people affected by poverty since 1968. It's an international movement, collaborating with partners across the world in the spirit of solidarity and with the aim to tackle inequality and overcome persistent poverty.
In the UK, flagship initiatives include the 'Together in Dignity' family support programme - which seeks to reach those most isolated, recognise their contribution to their communities and strengthen their (peer-) support networks - and the 'Giving Poverty a Voice' programme - which aims to raise awareness of persistent poverty, counter prejudice and improve policy and practice.
ATD Fourth World features heavily in my forthcoming book 'The Empathy Fix. Why Poverty Persists and How to Change It', which is testament to the important work they do.
I am honoured and delighted they are hosting the launch of my book, and I would be very grateful if you could offer a donation to support their work - to support their work and to thank them for their hospitality. Whether it's £1 or £100, it's all very much appreciated!
And if you leave your details, you automatically enter the raffle to win one of three Craftivist Collective mini protest banners!
Thank you!
