My daugher Aspen who is 10 weeks old has been in and out of the glasgow childrens hospital since she was born from being on feeding tubes to getting fluid taken from her spine. This has not been easy for our family and especially having a young 2 year old aswell who isnt away from me much, the Radio lollipop have helped ensure my son can come up and still spend time with me without being stuck in the ward room. The volunteers who take time out of their day to help sick children and their families have came round the wards daily always with a smile on their faces to do activities from having bubble machies to karaoke with the children. I honestly cannot thank this charity enough as without them I dont think I would be able to spend as much time with my toddler just now and they have made it possible. My little boy might not remember this when hes older but I will be forever greatful for the volunteers and this charity as they arent only helping brighten up children who are in the hospital but the siblings who are also having a hard time adapting to this new part of life.
