I am taking on the challenge of completing the Stroud Half Marathon with a 120 lbs/55kg rucksack on the 27th October 2024. I am fundraising for the Clarity charity based in Barnstaple. Clarity's mission is to ensure that cost is not a barrier for those seeking help, by offering affordable counselling. The charity is mostly staffed by volunteer counsellors, providing an essential service that is accessible to those in need. I understand that times are tough, so any support is incredibly valuable and deeply appreciated. Although I have completed half marathons before, this time I want to push myself to the limit and raise both funds and awareness for this important cause. This attempt will also be part of the Guinness World Records, but more importantly, it will make a real difference in people's lives through Clarity's work.
