Tackling Awareness of Mental Health Issues (TAMHI) works with sports/youth club across NI to raise awareness of mental health and to tackle the social issues that negatively impact on this.

Story

What started off as a fitness rivalry with ex Ards manager John Bailie turned into an idea for charity.

One of which we both agreed with which was more than deserving which was TAMHI.

Then came the idea of if I could get a player shirt from all 12 league teams to cycle in turn for 4 hours. But for good measure and since it is near christmas I'll also do an extra 30 minutes dressed as santa as well.

Cliftonville's Joe Gormley and Glentoran's Markus Kane has lead the way for the campaign.

A big thanks to Glentoran as a club for helping to spread the word via their socials too.

Special thanks to Joe Gormley, Danny Purkis, Jordan Owens, Marcus Kane, Mark Haughey, Tomás Cosgrove and Linfield football club for providing the first shirt👏👏👏 teams of the NIFL to please help out, and could we ask preferably it who your biggest player is (we'll let you decide that one) and get his shirt in for that one day.

The shirt will be returned fresh and cleaned after the challenge and we would ask could the player encourage their team mates and teams socials to share this far and wide to help us raise as much as possible for TAMHI.
