Fundraiser for Give It Your Max in memory of Keith Beaumont-Smith

Susan Barty is raising money for Give It Your Max
In memory of Keith Beaumont-Smith
We work with disadvantaged, disabled and vulnerable young people aged 4-18 across the UK. Our tennis programmes are designed to enhance the lives of these children, many of whom haven’t had the opportunity to play tennis before. By offering free sessions in school and community settings, we help to break down potential barriers to participation, such as financial limitations or lack of opportunity. We use tennis to tackle socio-economic issues, including poor mental health, low self-esteem, high levels of inactivity, crime/anti-social behaviour and low aspirations.

Story

This page has been set up in memory of Keith Beaumont-Smith, a truly inspirational tennis coach in the UK, Portugal, and in his home country of Australia, and wonderful friend of so many who got to know him over the years. Keith challenged all of those he taught with his tremendous skill and inimitable sense of humour and will be missed by all who knew him. Keith was keen to support under privileged children and had a life-long love for tennis and enabling those he taught to become the best player they could be. If you were a “leftie” - then you were considered even more gifted.
