I'm doing the End to End Challenge which is a virtual walk from Land's End to John O' Groats. It's a total of 874 miles and I started in January of this year. The great thing about End to End is that at given milestones they plant trees to mark one's progress and also provide a meal for somebody in need.

Progress has been hampered by a knee that is waiting to be replaced and by various illnesses but I have reached the 500 mile mark, with just under 400 miles to go. I have waited until now to launch my page as I wanted to be sure my aging body wouldn't let me down. One way or another, I now know that I will finish and I would be go grateful if you would consider sponsoring me on what is a very personal journey.
