Story
Every day, thousands of people across the UK fall victim to cybercrime. From hacked social media accounts to online scams, identity theft, and harassment, the impact can be devastating. Victims are often left feeling isolated, frightened, and unsure of where to turn for help.
Despite working within the Cyber Security sector I was recently personally involved in online fraud where my details had been gathered from a data breach (Marks and Spencer and/or Jaguar Land Rover) and although I recouped my losses via swift action by myself and the bank others aren't so fortunate.
That’s where The Cyber Helpline comes in.
We are a UK charity dedicated to supporting victims of cybercrime. Our team of expert volunteers and cyber security professionals guide people through what has happened, help them take back control, and give them the tools to stay safe in the future. We’re here 365 days a year, offering free, confidential, and practical support when people need it most.
Please help us continue to help as many individuals and families as possible.
