I am running again this year for the Sheffield Music Hub. Specifically for their Connect programme. This helps young people from low-income families keep learning to play an instrument. Everyone selected for the programme receives free weekly instrumental tuition, access to instrument hire and membership to weekly music groups as well as wider help for their musical progression in the form of an Individual Learning Plan. Students are also invited to a range of termly musical experiences called ‘Get Togethers’, which aim to introduce them to a wide range of musical styles and they receive a personal bursary to support their ongoing progression. The continuation rate is good. Thank you for your support of this excellent scheme.
