Story
This year I am continuing to support the great work of Brain Tumour research by cycling 274 miles in August and then the Walk of Hope at Elvaston Castle in September.
Our daughter Zara was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour in 2021 and from the point of diagnosis she committed to raising funds and awareness via her campaign Zara’s Appeal for a Cure
Zara fought bravely until she passed away in October 2023.
We and many than knew and have been inspired by her strive to continue to keep her Appeal going by continuing her fundraising and awareness work.
So if you can support me with donation and/or spreading the word and increasing awareness - its all greatly appreciated.
To date Zara’s appeal has raised £25,000 to support the life changing research and support of Brain Tumour Research

One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.
Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. It is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. Help fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
