I am intending to raise enough money for Pickups For Peace (P4P) to buy a 4x4 pickup truck, which we will then fill with humanitarian aid and I will drive it to Ukraine, where it is donated.

Each truck typically saves ten lives because they are the only reliable way to get wounded soldiers to a hospital in the critical first hour. The Ukrainians are desperate to get as many trucks as they can, so we source second hand ones, in good condition, have them serviced, painted, and drive them to Lviv.

I have done this once before, and when in Lviv, we visited the graves of the fallen heroes and it was heartbreaking to see whole families grieving the loss of a father, son and husband. Seeing their plight, has made me passionate to do it again, but I need your help to finance it.

Your money will be used to pay for the truck (£4-6,000), servicing (£500-1,000). I and my co-driver pay for the ferry, fuel and flights home.

All funds go to P4P, who will use it to purchase truck, medical aid and help others donate trucks. Excess funds would go to P4P, and may even be used for me to do a third trip.
