Kekst CNC are taking to the streets of Hackey, running the iconic Hackney Half for Team Literacy Pirates to support their fun and impactful work.

The Literacy Pirates run engaging and creative programmes to let children reinvent themselves as successful learners. The impact will last throughout their time at school and beyond.

They are focused on the enjoyment of reading and writing and building their confidence as readers and writers, allowing children to transfer their new skills into the classroom. They publish and celebrate children's work throughout their programme, allowing them to become book authors, journalists and film writers and a lasting sense of achievement.
