Keld Charity Tractor Run · 25 May 2025

As the leading Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) charity in the UK, we want to find effective treatments for DMD and end its devastating impact. We’re going further than anyone has before, and we’re doing it faster, because this generation of people living with DMD can’t wait.

Story

Three-year-old Zander Coates, of Keld, North Yorkshire, has been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).

It is a devastating muscle-wasting disease and the most common and severe form of muscular dystrophy. It mainly affects boys.

Duchenne UK is the leading DMD charity in the UK, connecting the best researchers with industry, the NHS and families to advance and accelerate every stage of drug development.

Zander comes from a farming community in Swaledale and this Tractor Run is the community's way of coming together to show support for Zander and to raise money for research into Duchenne.

Together, we will end Duchenne.
