Oscar is 11 years old and a complete wonder, he’s a joy every day he navigates the world led by his sensory differences and preferences as somebody with Co Occurring condition’s and complex diagnosis’s of Autism , Learning Disability, ADHD, Dysraxia , ARFID eating Disorder and extreme anxiety including PDA , targets and demands on Oscar are not easy and yet he gives his best every time .

One of Oscar‘s conditions is dyspraxia. He’s unable to measure his body in space and struggles with mobility due to his sensory profile .

As a child with complex sensory needs ADHD behaviours that are avoidant due to his self regulation he is sometimes unable to access the world even with reasonable adjustments.

Oscar requires very personalised bespoke targets that meet him where he’s at measuring his sensory and physical needs. That is why him taking part in the one K super sensory race at parallel festival for the Anna Kennedy online charity is so amazing this is a target that Oscar will be able to reach not without challenge but he will with support be able to complete the challenge with his adjustments in place which allow him to achieve something and celebrate for the amazing little human being that he is.
