I'm Jumping Out of a Plane to Help Beat Cancer! 🎗✈️
On 27th September 2025, I’ll be skydiving in Maidstone to raise money for the Royal Marsden Charity — and yes, you heard that right. Am I crazy? Probably. Am I insane? Absolutely! But I’m doing this for a cause that means everything to me.
I chose the Royal Marsden because of the incredible dedication and support they give to people facing all types of cancer — including me. Their care has helped me through some of the most difficult times of my life.
If you know me personally, you’ll understand how deeply this matters to me. If you don’t, here’s my story…
My Journey
At just 14 years old, I was diagnosed with a rare, lifelong hereditary condition called Gorlin-Goltz Syndrome (Gorlin's). This condition has had a huge impact on my life: it causes sight impairment, jaw cysts, and most significantly, recurring skin cancers that require regular surgeries every 6–12 weeks. I live with countless scars — and will continue to — because there is currently no cure.
Three years ago, I was referred to the Royal Marsden, where I began a new oral treatment aimed at preventing new cancers from developing. While it was successful, the side effects were brutal — I ended up in hospital, needing an NJ feeding tube, suffering from muscle cramps, complete hair and taste loss, and more.
Despite everything, I’m still here. I’m still fighting. And with the Royal Marsden’s continued support, I’ve kept going.
Why This Matters
I live with this condition every single day — but I refuse to let it define me. I will not let cancer win. I will not let this condition stop me from living, working, and having an amazing life. It has made me braver and stronger, and I hope one day there will be a cure — not only for my condition, but for all cancers.
The word “cancer” is just six letters long, but it affects 1 in 2 of us in our lifetimes. It destroys lives, changes families forever, and leaves a lasting mark. That’s why we need hospitals like the Royal Marsden — to help people fight, heal, and survive.
Please Support This Cause
I’m not doing this for sympathy. I’m doing this to raise awareness of rare conditions like mine — and to support a cause that gives people hope, care, and a chance to keep going.
Every donation — big or small — makes a difference.
All money raised will go directly to the Royal Marsden.
Together, we will beat cancer.
💛 Thank you so much for your support.
My beautiful friend heather is also jumping raising money for Royal marsden also, showing appreciation to their dedication to myself and others fighting others. Please visit her page...
