On the 6th April 2025 - Myself, my Sister Lauren and my Brother in-Law Liam will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon together to raise money to Thank the incredible staff at Harefield Hospital for saving my partner Daniels Life and supporting us as a Family 💜

As many of you know on the 15th August 2024 Dan underwent his 4th major heart operation 💜 This surgery was a lot tougher and more complex than the others with Dan being put into an induced coma with ECMO support as his heart was only working at 20% and he was on the verge of liver and kidney failure after his operation 😢

Being told that the love of your life may not make it through the weekend as he was so Critical completely broke me 💔

But Wow watching the ITU nurses, Doctors and Surgeons fight for him - they Saved his life and they are the reason he is here with us today 💜 and I will be forever grateful to them all 💜

Dan spent 13 days in an induced coma and then a total of 8 weeks in ITU. During this time not only did the staff help Dan fight for his life, they held me up and kept me strong..💜

Dan went on to spend 2 weeks in HDU and an additional 9 weeks on Juniper Ward.. Where every single member of staff helped him fight and get to where he is today..This included the Amazing Nurses, Doctors, Surgeons who treated him everyday and ensured that he was getting better and making good progress. The Unreal Physio Team led by Gemma who pushed Dan everyday from when Dan was in ITU & he couldn’t move and was on a ventilator until the day he left the hospital and he was walking with a stick..💜(I don’t think people actually realise how much physios actually do - they are Unbelievable) The OT team, Pain team, Receptionists, catering staff and the cleaners who all cheered us up with there smiles and constant caring nature of seeing how Dan was and making sure he was ok..

Dan spent a total of 136 days in Harefield Hospital, there were so many different people who were part of his journey and helped to Save His life and bring Tayla & Ronnie’s Dad home to them 💜

We would love to try and raise as much money as possible to Thank this incredible Hospital as we really can’t express how Grateful we are - the staff and hospital will forever hold a place in our hearts 💜💜
